APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Sometimes, customer gets the following error :
"APT_PMConnectionRecord::start: cmsg read returned 28, expected
40, No such file or directory".

Local fix

  • Since the issue is intermittent, the workaround is to reset the
job, rollback database environment and run the job again. The
next run is successful.

Problem summary

  • Intermittently a job will be aborted with the following error:
"APT_PMConnectionRecord::start: cmsg read returned 28, expected
40, No such file or directory".

Problem conclusion

  • Install the patch

Temporary fix
