APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Sometimes the datastage jobs multiple instances are not
  instanciated.
  They are unable to start the new instance.
  
  Engineering has indicated that this is an open issue and has
  asked for APAR to be created.
  

Local fix

• This fix is included in 8.0.1 fixpack 3
  

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  User who switch projects in DS Director before running multiple
  instance jobs.
  ****************************************************************
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  After switching to a project in Director, an attempt to run a
  job instance will ignore the instance ID.
  ****************************************************************
  RECOMMENDATION:
  Install patch JR35364.
  ****************************************************************
  

Problem conclusion

• Director code was fixed so that it now correctly sets up
  internal objects required to run job instances.
