Error description

• There seems to be very significant performance degradation on
  AIX when objects are frequently (like for every row)
  instantiated and free'd. There are areas where the connector
  code can be improved to avoid the AIX performance issue. With
  these fixes, the Oracle connector's performance comes very close
  to the Oracle operator.
