Error description

• The Column Meta Data Editor doesn't include a property to define
  if a 'Decimal Type" could be Signed/Unsigned (EBCDIC context)

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  those wanting to export a zoned decimal needing to output F as
  the sign nibble rather than C
  ****************************************************************
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  when exporting a zoned decimal, a positive value was always
  represented by C and there was no option to change it (whilst
  this is correct, there are some requirements where the use of F
  instead means unsigned [inferred positive] and there was no
  option to make this happen)

  RECOMMENDATION:
  Install patch_JR35337_client_windows_8100-1
  ****************************************************************
  

Problem conclusion

• The UI has been updated to expose the "Is Signed" column
  metadata property for zoned decimals as setting this to "No"
  (i.e. unsigned) has the desired effect of setting the sign
  nibble to F
