APAR status

  • Closed as requirement.

Error description

  • the teble definition entered at design time gets overridden at
runtime by the result of the select: if you are selecting all
the fields from a source table, all the fields are passed to the
output link even though the actual output link table definition
doesn't contain all of the fields. This happens with RCP off,
which seems to be unexpected behaviour.

Comments

  • Enhanced Teradata Connector not to propagate all columns in the
actual database table when "select *" is specified by the user
as select statement but "Runtime Column Propagation(RCP)" is
    off.
