JR35002: PRIMARY KEY ANALYSIS CLIENT ISSUES

APAR status

  • Closed as fixed if next.

Error description

  • 1. In Primary Key Analysis->Create Data Sample, the screen is

initially displayed with Sample Size as 0. If the Sample Type
"Sequential" is chosen, no error is displayed. However, no

Sample is created and when you go back to the Primary Key
Analysis screen the Sample Status column for that table has an
"Error" indicator. If a non-zero Sample size is specified,
    the
    sample is successfully created.

    2. In Primary Key Analysis->Run Multiple Column Analysis->Create
Data Sample-> for Random Sample (and I think Sequential and Nth
Interval too), it seemed like it created the sample in most

cases, but the UI would be stuck in the screen displaying

"Sample Creation in Progress". The Options and Engine tabs on

the screen were still disabled (correct behavior). If we closed
the "Primary Key Analysis" window and re-opened it, the
    Sample
would show up as Created and would be offered during MCPK.

    3. In Primary Key Analysis->MCPK screen, when you click

Duplicate Check, it runs to completion, but you cannot view

duplicate check, and completion of duplicate check does not

register on interface. If you close out of the ?Open Primary Key
Analysis? and come back in, then the duplicate check shows as

completed and you can view the results. So, this appears to be

another "refresh" issue with the UI.

the User interface. If the screen is closed and re-opened, then
the duplicate check shows as completed and you can view the
