APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• STP Stage when executed with no links runs successfully on
  Parallel Canvas and fails to execute the procedure. Where as the
  same STP stage with no links, aborts the job with the error
  message: One..Stored_Procedure_0: |Active Stage has no inputs or
  outputs.| on Server canvas
  

Local fix

• adding a input or output link to the STP stage

  All users of Stored Procedure Stage on Parallel Canvas
  ****************************************************************
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  When there are no links attached to the Stored Procedure Stage,
  the job aborts on Server canvas where as even though the job
  finishes on Parallel canvas, the stored procedure will not be
  executed.
  ****************************************************************
  RECOMMENDATION:
  Apply this APAR or add a link to the STP stage so that the job
  finishes successfully.
  ****************************************************************
  

Problem conclusion

• Changed the logic to fail on Parallel Canvas also when no links
  are attached to the STP stage as in Server canvas.
