Error description
[Problem] When input file includes 0x00 data, data after 0x00 is not input/output at getting/putting the file. For instance, *** Input file: it has 2 lines *** a c (<--- here is 0x00 between 'a' and 'c') nnnnnnnnnn *** result of the job Seq. ---> Seq. with the above input file *** *** There is no problem on it. *** "a c" (<--- here is 0x00 between 'a' and 'c') "nnnnnnnnnn" *** result of the job FTP ---> Seq. with the above input file *** *** This has problem. 0x00 and 'c' is not output *** "a" "nnnnnnnnnn" Patch of JR33988 has been applied in the customer's environment. This patch includes the similar ECASE 115757. But the fix seems not to solve this problem.
Local fix
Problem summary
Customer has NULL character present in String data. Characters following NULL characeter get's terminated.
Problem conclusion
Introduced a new environment variable "DSFTP_HANDLE_EMBEDDED_NULLS", when it is set to 1 NULL character will be included in string in NLS enabled job. When environment variable has been added to the job, then that jobs needs to be recompiled.
