  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The Result of IsValid Function is wrong when the operands
have trailing/Leading Tabs in PX 8.X.

Local fix

  • Added Support for an Environment Variable
APT_TRIX_STRING_WHITESPACE_COMPATIBLE. When
this variable is defined during both compilation
and runtime of the Job, trimc_string support the old
7.5X behavior

Problem summary

  • The result of IsValid function is wrong when the operands have
trailing/leading  Tabs  in PX8.x.

Problem conclusion

  • Environment variable APT_TRIM_STRING_WHITESPACE_COMPATIBLE to
be defined; when this variable is defined during both
compilation and runtime of the job, trimc_string will support
the old 7.5x behavior.
