Error description
Using istool to export DataStage assets, tool reports that exporting of a table definition failed, and an exception is thrown like the following: java.rmi.ServerException: RemoteException occurred in server thread; nested exception is: java.rmi.RemoteException: ; nested exception is: java.lang.NullPointerException at com.ibm.CORBA.iiop.UtilDelegateImpl.mapSystemException(UtilDeleg ateImpl.java:165) at com.ibm.CORBA.iiop.UtilDelegateImpl.wrapException(UtilDelegateIm pl.java:700) at javax.rmi.CORBA.Util.wrapException(Util.java:296) at com.ibm.istools.ai.spi._AssetExporterRemote_Stub.exportAsset(_As setExporterRemote_Stub.java:394)
Local fix
Workaround is to use export from DataStage Designer.
