JR34043: REJECTED RECORDS REPORTED AS LOADED RECORDS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The user has configured Oracle Connector stage to load data to
  the database in bulk-load mode. The user has also configured a
  reject link on the stage through which to send the records that
  could not be loaded. Some records are rejected and the job
  completes successfully. However the total number of loaded
  records that is reported in the job log includes both the
  records that were loaded and the records that were rejected.

  USERS AFFECTED:
  Users of Oracle Connector who are writing data to the target
  table in bulk load mode and have reject link defined for the
  connector stage.
  ****************************************************************
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  The connector would count the records that it rejected towards
  the total number of rows that were loaded. This was happening
  incases when the connector was configured in bulk load write
  mode.
  ****************************************************************
  RECOMMENDATION:
  Install Connector Rollup Patch 2 (CCRP2)
  This change is included in 8.1 Fix Pack 1.

Problem conclusion

• The connector was fixed to exlude the records that were
  rejectedfrom the number of records that it reports as loaded to
  the target table.
