Error description
DS jobs making use of StringToDecimal() showed different results in DS7.1 and DS7.5.1a. Same string value "123 123" yeilds 000 and 123 when it is passed to StringToDecimal() in DS7.1 and DS7.5.1a respectively

**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: DataStage 7.5.2, AIX **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: An environment variable was added to control the behavior of PX engine for the situation in question (converting a string with embedded spaces to a decimal). When the environment variable is set, PX engine assigns the decimal to 0, rather than to the value of the leading sequence of digits. **************************************************************** RECOMMENDATION: Install the patch and set the environment variable as instructed ****************************************************************
