JR33673: SYBASE ENTERPRISE STAGE RETURNS INCORRECT DATA FOR AN UNSIGNED INTEGER COLUMN

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Sybase Enterprise stage returns the value of '10' for every row
  read when the column is of type unsigned integer. This was
  reproduced with Sybase IQ 12.7, and using the read type of ASE
  since the IQ database was remote. The Sybase Open client version
  used was 15_0.  The problem may occur with other releases but
  has not been confirmed.
  

Local fix

• There is no workaround available.
  
  This fix is included in 8.0.1 fixpack 3

Problem conclusion

• The Sybase EE stage was not converting the unsigned column data
