APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When the connection string option is used in the ODBC connector
within the datasource property ( example DSN=SAMPLE;DB=XMETA )
the connection will fail with the error message " insufficient
informtion to connect to the datasource ". The connector
should be able to pick up the username and password from the
respective property fields in the GUI and add them to the
connection string. Note: the password portion of the connection
string should never be visible in clear text as this would be a
    major security risk.
