APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The same problem is being reported on HP-PA for 8.0.1.2
  (Fixpack 2) and 8.1.
  The cause is a large number beinserted into performance
  database used by the chart tool. The fix is a client side fix
  to use bigints in the schema.

• This fix is included in 8.0.1 fixpack 3

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  When the parallel framework performance analysis is invoked ,
  the user sees an overflow exception message and no  charts are
  displayed.

  RECOMMENDATION:
  Install the Patch.
  This change is included in 8.1 Fix Pack 1.

Problem conclusion

• The HP-UX operating system returns certain performance
  monitoring information at 64-bit nuumbers instead of 32-bit.
  Theparallel engine performance monitoring tool was expecting
  32-bitnumber. This error is fixed by the patch for this APAR
