Error description

• TD-32 executables, when run in TD-64bit environment (IS 8.1 on
  AIX is 64-bit) abort with error such as "wrong ELF or bad
  magic number" etc.

  users running "Teradata Load" plugin.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  Fastload executable, which is available only as 32-bit, will
   not run in TD-64bit environment, in which IS 8.1 is run
   (because TD-Stages in IS 8.1 are 64-bit).
  ****************************************************************
  RECOMMENDATION:
  Install the patch.
  This fix is included in Information Server 81 Fix Pack 1.
  ****************************************************************
  

Problem conclusion

• Provided a ENV-VAR: TD32_LIBPATH, which can be used to specify
  32-bit TD-LIBPATH and 32-bit fastload executable will be run as
  a separate process with TD-32 environment.
