JR31745: DS 801 MONITOR GIVES RUN-TIME ERROR '13' IF SHORT DATE FORMAT ISNOT THE WINDOWS DEFAULT

APAR status

• Closed as duplicate of another APAR.

Error description

• Customer is trying to go into DataStage director, clicks on a
  job and click New Monitor. He receives the error:
  Run-time error '13'
  Type mismatch
  and the monitor won't open.
  The issue is that they have the short date format in the
  regional settings set to:
  ddd MM/dd/yyyy
  with no seperator.  They must use the default format of M/d/yyyy
  with a / seperator.
  Even if they use ddd/M/d/yyyy with the slash seperator it
  doesn't like it.
  The server is 8.0.1 FP1A windows 2003
  

Local fix

• GO into regional settings and change the date format back to the
  default M/d/yyyy with a / seperator
