JR31580: Abnormal Termination in Oracle OCI Plugin on Solaris after upgra de from 753 to 8011

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Need the fix for Ecase 128096 built for IS 8.0.1 FP1 on Solaris.
  Testing with a debug version of this fix shows that it resolves
  the abnormal terminations at customer site.

• This fix is included in 8.0.1 fix pack 3

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  Customer sees Abnormal Termination after upgrading from
  DataStage version 752 to Information Server version 8011 in the
  Oracle OCI Plugin on Solaris.

  RECOMMENDATION:
  Apply the patch for APAR JR31580.
  ****************************************************************
  

Problem conclusion

• InformationServer v8011 now has the modification from eCase
  128096 that solves this problem handling long table names.
