JR30746: SCD STAGE REJECTS ROWS WITH NULL TYPE 2 FIELDS WHEN COMPARING BETWEEN UNICODE AND NON-UNICODE INPUTS CONTAINING NULL

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• SCD Stage rejects rows with NULL Type 2 fields if one input is
  of Extended Type Unicode and the other is NOT.
  
  Director reports record dropped:
  APT_CombinedOperatorController(6),0: Field 'Column_A'
  from input dataset '0' is NULL. Record dropped.
  

Local fix

• Both source columns have to be of same type, either Unicode or
  non-Unicode

Problem conclusion

• Added extra code to generate implicit conversion before
  comparing the type2 columns with different data types.
