JR30421: DS753 DOESN'T WORK WELL WITH INFORMIX CSDK2.9 AND ABOVE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer upgraded Informix server to IDS 10 and they are using
  CSDK2.8 to connect to it since this is the latest version DS753
  supported. However, from Informix site, IDS 10 is required CSDK
  2.9 and above to connect.
  
  1. if DS753 has been fully tested on using CSDK2.8 to connect to
  IDS 10?
  2. if DS753 is certified to use CSDK2.9x to connect to IDS 10?
  

Local fix

• Use CSDK2.8 as workaround
  

Problem summary

  to some job hangs

  RECOMMENDATION:
  Install patch_JR30421

Problem conclusion

• The issue is fixed in patch_JR30421
