APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Since upgrading from DS 7.5.1 to IS 8.0.1 FP1 windows. Some jobs
are now reporting the following message in the job logs:

Message:: IBMDS8DataTruncErrorSimple..Transformer_3: [IBM][CLI
Driver] CLI0002W  Data truncated. SQLSTATE=01004

Same job on DS 7.5.1 does not return this message.

Engineering have identified that this change was introduced by
the fix for 116482. Customer would like to have the same
functionality as previously in DS 7.5.1 also available in IS
8.0.1.
