APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The memory used by the osh process continually increases until
it reaches the 2gb mark and then the job fails returing a
segmentation fault, SIGSEGV, when this stage is used in a
parallel job.  For reference, when a server job is used, it
fails almost immediately with abnormal termination of stage,
fault in the BASIC run machine.

Local fix

  • Customer is using ODBC Enterprise or ODBC connector to access
the Informix database, however these do not offer the same
degree of functionality.
