Error description

• Application server was running very slowly. Tracing had been
  switched off. Documentation to be updated showing how to switch
  of tracing on the App Server to its default value.
  

Local fix

• Tracing on the appliation server was switched off.

  Users who have modified the trace settings in WebSphere

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  They have requested that we document the default tracing setting
  in WebSphere because if they are not set correctly, the system
  will be slow.

  RECOMMENDATION:
  If you are going to turn on trace in WebSphere, note the
  changes you make and remember to undo those changes to go back
  into production.
