• Customer is experiencing problem described in ecase 124616.
  THere is only a patch for AIX. Customer is in Red Hat. Please
  generate a patch for this platform.

  DataStage Administrator users accessing user permissions

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  The DataStage Administrator - Project - Properties -Permissions
  tab is emply even though DataStage users have been defined via
  the Web Console.
  
  The users can still login into the DataStage clients like the
  Administrator as long as they have been defined as
  Administrators in the Web Console. Not even the Admin users show
  up in the permissions tab.

  RECOMMENDATION:
  Apply patch patch_e124616_server_aix.tar.gz for AIX,
  patch_e124616_server_redhat.tar.gz for RedHat or Information
  Server 8.0.1 FP2 (8.0.1.2)

Problem conclusion

• A defect in functionality was found in the Information Server
  directory services that prevented DataStage from accessing the
  list of users authorized to use DataStage.
