When you install IBM® DB2® Document Manager, the COM (Component Object Model) properties of DB2 Document Manager are set to recycle objects. This affects the following properties:
- On the Advanced page of the DB2 Document Manager Properties window, in the Server Process Shutdown section, the option Leave running when idle is selected.
- On the Pooling & Recycling page of the DB2 Document Manager Properties window, the Lifetime Limit (minutes) value is set to 360 and the Expiration Timeout (minutes) value is set to 15.
To access these properties:
- From the Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools and then Component Services.
- In the left pane, expand Component Services, Computers, My Computer, and COM+ Applications.
- Right-click IBM DB2 Document Manager and select Properties from the popup menu.
- Click the Advanced tab or the Pooling & Recycling tab.
