APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In certain cases, such as if you have a post-process property
mod on a lifecycle request, and if that request fails, an event
is added to the document's history. This is a problem because
the request will be processed (and fails) repeatedly by the
lifecycle service, hence creating repeating entries in the
    document's history.

Local fix

  • use pre-process property mods.

Problem summary

  • Entries were repeated in the activity logs
Under certain circumstances, requests in the life cycle queue
caused errors that were processed repeatedly, causing multiple
    entries in the activity logs.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix is available DB2 Document Manager v8.4 fix pack 2.
