Error description

  • XML Component links not able to specify the XmlComponentType.  I
f you set the XmlComponentName and then Added the link, and then
tried to set the XmlComponentType to anything other than
dmXmlComponentTypeNone, you would have received and error and
the link would not be created.

Problem summary

  • When specifying an XML component type during XML component link
creation, the action failed. The users received an error message
and the links were not created.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix is available in DB2 Document Manager v8.3 Fix Pack 10.
