Problem summary
Adding Visio files sometimes caused DdmExtr.exe to stop DB2 Document Manager interpreted some Visio files incorrectly as another type of file, causing DdmExtr.exe to stop functioning when those files were added.
Problem conclusion
The fix is available in DB2 Document Manager V8.3 Fix Pack 9.
