Error description

  • This problem is specific to German systems.  On Search Templates
with the Content Tab enabled the default operator is Oder (Or in
English).
When the user clicks the Clear All button, this operator changes
to Und (And in English).


This is NOT the behavior on an English system which has the
default operator of And.  Clicking the clear all button sets it
to And.

The behavior on a German system causes confusion for the users.
We think that the default operators are being displayed in
alphbetical order (Oder, Und).
And that the Clear all is hard coded to Und (And).

  • Default Search operator was incorrect in German edition
On the DB2 Document Manager Content tab, the default search
operator was set to "oder" (English: or) instead of "und"
(English: and).

  • The fix is available in DB2 Document Manager V8.3 Fix Pack 9.
