Error description

  • If you create a new revision, then checksout and checks in the
revision, and then run lifecycle, lifecycle changes the older
version instead of the latest version. For example, if the new
    state changes the ACL, etc.

Problem summary

  • Transitions applied to incorrect document versions of a document
at the time it was queued, instead of the current version.
When a user revised a document into a state that changed the
access control list (ACL), checked out the revised document and
checked it back in, and then ran LifeCycle Manager, the ACL was
incorrectly changed on the previous version instead of the
    latest version.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix is available in DB2 Document Manager V8.3 Fix Pack 9.
