PK67719: PRERENDERING FAILS TO COPY FILES TO DESTINATION DIRECTORY.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When cacher.overwritecache=false, prerendering fails to copy the
  directories from the temp folder.
  

Local fix

• Workaround is to create the library directories in the
  destination directory.
  

Problem summary

• In some situations / setups the WCM pre-rendering cacher fails
  to create the destination directory with
  connect.moduleconfig.cacher.overwritecache property set to
  false.
  
  If this happens the pre-rendered content is not copying from the
  temporary directory to the configured destination directory. No
  related exception can be found in log files.
  

Problem conclusion

• The WCM Cacher implementation relies on the
  java.io.File.renameTo method to rename the temporary
  pre-rendering directory to the destination directory. As stated
  in the API documentation this method can fail without any
  exception in some situations and platforms (e.g. when the source
  and destination directories are on different file systems).
  Other setups could also be found causing this method to fail.
  
  The fix implements a fallback mechanism to move the temporary
  directory to the destination directory using copy and delete
  file operations.
