Error description

• For IE, the upload image(file) field is not cleared before
  sending the request to the server when click the "Delete"
  button.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• The input field of file or image resource component is not
  cleared before sending request to the server after clicking
  "Delete" button. The javascript document.getElementById.value =
  '' is not working for IE, the value won't get set empty string.
  

Problem conclusion

• Replace the node instead of setting the value to empty string.
