PK58593: CANNOT FILTER DIALOGUE FOR SELECTING FILE AS LINK COMPONENT APAR FOR AUTHORING PORTLET

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When customer press "Insert link" in a RichText Editor component
  they
  are presented with a screen which allows them to select to link
  content,
  file or image.
  When they select content or image they get a filter over each
  column of
  the list so that they can refine the items they see. When they
  select
  file they do not get these filters, which makes finding a file
  to link
  to really cumbersome.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Problem Analysis: WCM was not creating the table to display the
  available
  file resource components in the same way that the Image
  component form was.
  

Problem conclusion

• Problem Solution: Changed WCM create the table of results with
  the
  filter functionality.
