Error description

• NullPointerException is thrown if <Element context="autofill"
  type="sitearea" is rendered by user with no access to site area
  
  Although the information should not be retrieved, a
  NullPointerException should not be thrown.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Problem Summary: When using element tags to reference site area
  objects, if the end user does not have access, the tag should
  not return anything, but it should not throw a
  NullPointerException either.
  

Problem conclusion

• Changed WCM code to check for the null, and report out the ID of
  the object that is invalid.
