PK56959: UI DOESN'T HANDLE SIZELIMITEXCEEDEDEXCEPTION WHEN UPLOAD A FILE

Error description

  • Problem:
    
    If the file size is larger than the value specified by
    "resource.maxUploadSize" in the "WCMConfigSevice.properties",
    the org.apache.commons.fileupload.FileUploadBase$SizeLimitExceed
    edException will be throwen in the log, and nothing will be
    saved in the UI.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • If the file size is larger than the value specified by
    "resource.maxUploadSize" in the "WCMConfigSevice.properties",
    the
    org.apache.commons.fileupload.FileUploadBase$SizeLimitExceededEx
    ception will be throwen in the log, and nothing will be saved in
    the UI. This exception is not get handled in the UI, so there is
    no warning or error message, and also all the information are
    lost in the UI.
