PK53869: PERMISSION ENTRY EXCEEDS THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE LIMIT IN JCR WHEN THE DN IS BEING USED AS THE MEMBERID.

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In a permission entry, when the memberID is using the same value
as the DN and the DN is of a substantial length. It is possible
the whole permission entry will exceed the total allowable limit
    in JCR of 252.

Local fix

  • Instead of storing the DN twice, once for the DN and once for
the memberID. The memberID will be represented by a *. When the
entries are being read from JCR and into WCM, the full DN will
be placed back into the memberID.
