Error description

  • IllegalArgumentException in WAS log when AO attempts to format
an event message.

This issue is related to the AO event log. When using the AO
event log, in certain situations a IllegalArgumentException is
displayed in the UI (and also stored in the WAS log). In such a
situation, the event log is no longer updated and a user needs
to clear the event log or needs to logout and login again to be
able to use the event log to monitor events.

Formerly, if the AO event log was used to monitor events, in
certain situations, a java.lang.IllegalArgumentException error
had been displayed and the event log was no longer updated.
