PI27155: SIGNATURE RE-VERIFICATION FUNCTIONALITY FOR CLS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer needs a mandatory signature re-verification
  functionality for CLS in MSIF system
  
  The problem is that
  one of the mandatory CLS InterACt messages processing funtions
  is to process the signature re-verification.
  for that the request (resp. its signature)
  has to be provided to SNL, that SNL can process the
  verification again.
  This functionality is available in WBIFN FIN processing, but
  not in the MSIF processing.

• The solution will be provided with the APAR

  Formerly, the WebSphere BI for FN signature reverification
  service was able to reverify the signature for SIPN FIN
  messages. However, it was not possible to reverify a
  signature for an InterAct message received via MSIF.
  

Problem conclusion

• Now, the callable signature verification service (DNF_V_API)
  was introduced. DNF_V_API is able to reverify a signature of
  SIPN FIN messages as well as signatures of InterAct messages
  received via MSIF.
