PI23556: VALIDATION ERROR AFTER RECEIVING AN RM AUTHORISATION TOSND

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When an RM authorisation ToSnd is received from a correspondent
  with whom an old, imported bootstrap authorisation existed, the
  WBIFN RMA tries to send out an authorisation PDU for this
  imported bootstrap authorisation.
  This is unwanted and should not happen.
  The imported bootstrap authorisation should only be substituted
  by the newly received authorisation ToSnd.
  
  Due to the fact, that bootstrap authorisations don't contain an
  Issued Date/Time value, this authorisation PDU fails validation
  and is not send to the counterpart

  Formerly, when an RM authorisation ToSnd is received from
  a correspondent with whom an old, imported bootstrap
  authorisation existed, the WBIFN RMA tried to send out an
  authorisation PDU for the imported bootstrap authorisation.
  This is unwanted and should not happen. The imported bootstrap
  authorisation should only be replaced by the received
  authorisation ToSnd. Due to the fact, that a bootstrap
  authorisation doesn't contain an Issued Date/Time value,
  this authorisation PDU fails validation and is not send to
  the counterpart.
  

Problem conclusion

• Now, this has been fixed.
