Error description
Communications Server for Windows, Version 6.4 ---------------------------------------------- When using CSSTART command line tool to start the CSWIN node, error message PCS5920E "The Hot Standby call to the Windows function OpenFileMapping failed" is recorded. This does not occur when using the Node Operations graphical tool to start the node. This may occur even if the Hot Standby function is not configured.

Use Node Ops to start the node.

USERS AFFECTED: All PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: PCS5920E "The Hot Standby call to the Windows function OpenFileMapping failed". PROBLEM SUMMARY: This error occurs if the RAPISERVER service is not running. The RAPISERVER service is necessary for the proper functioning of CSWIN. The Windows application event log records a failure starting the RAPISERVER service.
Problem conclusion
The Hot Standby module has been corrected to ensure that the RAPISERVER service ets started properly.
