APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Severe delays processing LU62 transactions originating from the
SNA API CLIENT. A WINAPING transaction can take 10 seconds or
greater to complete when should complete under a second. Problem
is new with the SNA API CLIENT shipped with IBM Communication
Server V6.4.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • The delays were introduced by a change to
support IPV6 with synchronizing messages.. The code was using
a structure with a duplicated windows message handle.
