APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When running HPR to an adjacent control point there were
multiple RTP pipes for 1 COS. Each new LU-LU session would drive
a new RTP pipe for the same COS. There should be only 1 RTP
    pipe for each COS.

Local fix

  • remove any adjacent linkstation routing profiles previously used
    for SUBAREA.

    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
The logic for comparing the RTP pipes
to check for a suitable one was done
before we knew the actual remote NCE.
    Therefore, the requested RTP
connection failed to match with an
    existing suitable one.

Problem conclusion

  • The actual NCE is noted after the RSETUP response is received
and a check done to see if an existing pipe matches the
    requested new one.
