Prerequisites and co-requisites
This upgrade for ITCAM for Response Time, Application Management Console may be applied to the following base versions.
- 7.3.0.x - AIX, Windows, Linux, Solaris
- Supported base versions include interim fixes applied to any of the above release levels.
This fix replaces java libraries used by the Application Management Console Agent in secure communication. This remediates the POODLE attack. Secure SOAP interface has been switched to use TLS protocol instead of SSL protocol. Similar remediation has also been applied on Rational Support Integration support files and are included in this fix.
This fix is applicable for T3 agents and the Rational Support Integration plugin:
- versions 7.3.0.x
- Windows, AIX and Linux, Solaris platforms.

Before Installing
Note that Rational Integration Support is only available for Windows platform.
Installing
Update AMC library for agent
- Stop the AMC agent.
- At the machine where the AMC agent reside, backup the kt3com.jar, kt3ft.jar and camconfig.jar in the
/tmaitm6/t3/lib [WINDOWS] or / /t3/lib [UNIX] directory - Replace the kt3com.jar, kt3ft.jar and camconfig.jar with the ones supplied.
- Start the AMC agent.
Update AMC library for support for TEPS, TEMS
- Stop TEPS.
- At the machine where TEPS reside, backup all occurrences camconfig.jar, rtcom.jar, mfu.jar and rtft.jar files.
- Replace camconfig.jar, rtcom.jar, mfu.jar and rtft.jar with the ones supplied.
- Start TEPS.
- Clear browser cache and JVM caches on ALL machines where TEP client is used.
Update Rational Integration Support for RFT/RPT
- Remove the Rational Integration Support via Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel
- Install the new Rational Integration Support provided.
