IT16366: HOD AFTER UPGRADING IN BACKGROUND FROM HOD 11 TO HOD 12, CLIENT CONTINUES TO APPEAR AS HOD 11

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After upgrading from HOD 11.0.x to HOD 12, the client continues
  to appear as HOD 11.
  In this case, HOD 12 was installed as 32-bit server on Windows
  so it installs in the /Program Files (x86)/ folder.  (64-bit
  server installs in /Program Files/).  When the client is
  upgraded to HOD 12 in  background mode (continue to use HOD 11
  client while HOD 12 client downloads in the background), then
  restart the client, it continues to appear as a HOD 11 client.

Problem conclusion

• Jar version file has been updated in HOD12.0.1 to resolve this
