    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
    * When Group Policy is set to disable some View options they *
    * may still appear on the emulator window when the session is *
    * restarted.                                                   *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    * Upgrade to version 6.0.15 of IBM Personal Communications *
    ****************************************************************
    When Group Policy using a template provided by IBM Personal
    Communications is set to disable a view e.g Extended OIA or
    status bar, the menu items are disabled, but if the user had
    that particular feature enabled when he exited the previous
    emulator session, that feature would still appear on the window

Problem conclusion

  • The last exit view stores the details of all features to enable
    when the IBM Personal Communications session is started.
    PCSWS.EXE has been changed to honor the settings in Group
    Policy.

    Fix is scheduled for PCOM 6.0.15 Refresh Pack
