    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
    * When a PC unicode file is uploaded to host, where the last *
    * byte is DBCS leading byte, the last unicode is corrupted and *
    * incorrectly translated to EBCDIC. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The problem code was added through APAR IC66141 / IC70695 which
    is a problem when a shift-JIS MBCS file is loaded to host. If
    the last byte is DBCS-leading byte, the last byte is removed.
    This logic must not be used when PC file is in unicode.

Problem conclusion

  • The PCSXFER.DLL was changed to not check DBCS-leading byte when
    the PC file is in unicode.

    Fix scheduled for PCOM 6.0.13 Refresh Pack
