* Systems running the 5300-12 Technology Level with the 32-bit
* kernel (bos.mp) fileset at the 5.3.12.6 level.
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
* Device drivers may timeout or hang indefinitely waiting for
* an event. This only occurs on when running the 32-bit kernel.
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:
* Install APAR IV25948.
****************************************************************

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Fixed the code in such a way that the last boot value for
32 bit kernel should not go up and down.
