Hardware Considerations
Minimum hardware requirements for the Optim Test Data Management Solution for SAP Applications server
The Optim Test Data Management Solution for SAP Applications distribution files are delivered as a ZIP file. The contents of the ZIP file should be extracted to a distribution directory on either your SAP server, or a workstation that has network access to your SAP server.
The files and logs created on your SAP server during an installation of Optim Test Data Management for SAP Applications require approximately 80 MB of disk space.
Software Considerations
Optim Test Data Management Solution for SAP Applications is supported for SAP systems running under UNIX or Windows. It is built in ABAP/4 as an ABAP add-on. (Refer to the SAP Service Marketplace for the Product Availability Matrix, which lists the operating systems that your SAP kernel release supports.)
Supported SAP versions
Optim Test Data Management Solution for SAP Applications supports SAP R/3 releases 4.6C and above, and other SAP systems.
The installation and configuration tasks must be performed by qualified R/3 administrators who are responsible for the maintenance of SAP R/3 systems.
