Troubleshooting
Problem
Server database restore fails with the following message after volume is mounted for restore : ANR2969E Database restore terminated. DB2 sqlcode: -2033. DB2 sqlerrmc: 168.

Cause
RC 168 means the password was not set correctly for the API. This can occur if one fails to prepare the server database for backup or if dsmapipw was not successfully run.
Resolving The Problem
Run all steps in "Preparing the database manager for database backup" section of installation guide.
Running dsmapipw is part of this process and will set the password for the TSMDBMGR node, which will be used for the database backup.
