ANR0132E Memory allocation error with sufficient memory

Troubleshooting

Problem

An ANR0132E memory allocation error is issued even though the system has the recommended amount of physical memory

Cause

If the physical memory is at the recommended levels, then this is caused by the virtual memory being set too low. It is recommended that the virtual memory be at least 1 to 2 times the size of the physical memory.

Resolving The Problem

Increasing the virtual memory to 1 to 2 times the size of the virtual memory will resolve this error. Additionally, you can have the system manage the virtual memory. Please ensure that the location defined in Windows for the virtual memory is sufficiently large to hold the full size of the desired virtual memory setting.
